Cucurbita maxima
An award winning buttercup squash sometimes referred to as a 'oriental pumpkin' due to its unique appearance. Sweet yellow-orange flesh and compact vines.
The skin should be colourful but have a dull finish, indicating the fruit has reached maturity. (If the surface is shiny, the flesh will be flavourless!) Small fruit up to 1.5kg.
