Attractive blue-green leaves with reddish veining make Red Russian the perfect foil for any salad. Red Russian is also any chefs dream in a stir-fry, or even steamed with other vegetables. The deeply lobed and ruffled leaves are extremely tender to eat and can be picked once the plant is 30cm tall.
Pick the lower, older leaves to ensure the plant continues producing. Leaves should be ready for picking after 7 weeks.
