Linum usitatissimum
Common linseed plant usually grown for its fibre and oil, but if left to go to seed you will be rewarded with masses of small billowing green seed pods that age to a golden brown colour. The small blue flowers are also lovely but they do not last long enough to be considered as a useful cut flower.
