One of the most adaptable and versatile garden performers of all bedding plants; impatiens tolerate shade, full sun and just about anything else - except frost. This year we have introduced a Downy Mildew disease resistant variety, due to the fact that the DM made its way to NZ last season. The Beacon Series offers a "High Resistance" (not immunity) to the bacteria that causes the DM on impatiens walleriana (testing has shown excellent results - see page 6 of our catalogue for more information.)
