UC157 is a proven variety that also has improved rust tolerance. It produces high yields and has a large spear size.

Ocimum basilicum

Very aromatic, bushy annual with branching stems that bare tender, light green, oval leaves with slightly toothed margins. Seed can be sown indoors in late spring ready to plant outside in early summer, or when the soil has warmed.

Thrives in rich, well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered position. Mist the leaves and water frequently in hot weather.

Hickok has several characteristics that set it apart to lead the market. Very attractive dark, glossy beans this high gloss is very distinctive. Hickok has very good flavour and low fibre levels. The beans are set high on the plant resulting in less disease and very straight beans. Strong vigorous plant with a good disease resistance package and high yields.
